If you couldn’t hear the birds sing

Would you notice?

Would you hear the quiet first?

Or would you feel it?

If you couldn’t see the moonshine,

Could you taste it?

Would you listen to the cricket song

Like you could sense it?

If you couldn’t feel the wind blow

Could you smell it?

Would wafting scents of lilacs tease your nose?

Or would you care?

If dewdrops licked your ears,

Would you acknowledge?

How loud must Nature scream

Before you see it?
