Winter Rain
A wish for us all ...
This poem came to me after the election of 2024 as the winds of change began to blow across this country. I am sharing it again because many of you have not read it and it is even more relevant now. I wish that in a small way it can give us hope.
**********
The winter wind blows brisk, Heavy with yesterday’s sorrows. Cleanses both earth and sky, Preparing for fresh tomorrows. Weighed down with ice and snow, It scrubs away the tears and pain, And purges bloodied soil, Then rinses all with winter rain.

Thank you for sharing this poem. So much to process about the world right now.
I understand. All we can do is live the day we have and work in some small way toward the world we want for tomorrow.
